We have used The Arborist, Inc. for years. Tim DeCoste is a certified arborist and the owner. He always gives us thoughtful, professional advice, has educated us about the trees on our property, and won't do more work than what is necessary for the health of the trees. His operators never use tree spikes, and are cautious, intelligent, and respectful when working in our yard. A very professional operation. Over the past 8 years, he's taken down countless trees big and small (some by choice, some as a result of storm or ice damage) and pruned even more in our yard. The last storm required 2 full days of tree work in our yard, and they removed 4 large trees (2 uprooted, 1 snapped in half about 15' feet up, and 1 hanging 20' up in the air that required a bucket truck) 4-5 medium trees, and several small trees that were casualties underneath the larger canopies. I think the total was 5 tons of material removed. We also feel strongly that Tim's pruning advice over the past years prevented any structural damage as a result of the storm - nothing hit our house, garage, or shed.
